Where Nature Meets Neuroscience — So Kids & Grownups Can Thrive

Kids' nervous systems are struggling, and the adults raising and treating them are running on empty. The NatureLed™ Approach works with the healing power of nature — backed by 30 years of occupational therapy practice — to build calmer kids, steadier grownups, and better baselines for life.

A child covering their face at a table, overwhelmed

Struggling kids. Exhausted grownups. What's missing?

More than half of parents live with chronic stress. Professionals feel burnt out and uncertain how to help. And children are struggling with anxiety, meltdowns, sensory overload, and emotional dysregulation — in numbers we've never seen before.

Here's the truth: it's not you, and it's not your child.

It's the environment. Modern life has pulled children — and the adults who care for them — out of the very context their nervous systems were designed for.

I've sat with thousands of overwhelmed kids — and the worn-out adults who love them.

I'm Kathleen Lockyer. For 30 years as an occupational therapist, I've worked at the intersection of OT and the living world — and I've learned that the answers aren't in more systems, more charts, or more screens. They're outside the door.

Through the NatureLed™ Approach — a science-backed method developed over three decades of clinical practice — I teach practitioners and parents how to use nature to calm kids' nervous systems and restore the adults who care for them.
